Older homes, smaller bathrooms
Much of the Northeast was built in the decades after World War II, with later growth farther north along Dyer Street and Railroad Drive.
Bathrooms in older homes are often compact, which makes sliders, fixed panels and inward-swinging designs worth asking about.
Walls in older houses can be out of square, so expect the installer to take careful measurements before cutting glass.
Military families and Fort Bliss housing
Plenty of service members and veterans own or rent homes off post in the Northeast, and those requests work like any other.
If you live in on-post family housing at Fort Bliss, alterations to the home generally need permission from the housing community's management office first.
Get that approval in writing before you schedule glass work, or ask the housing office whether repairs to an existing door are handled through their own maintenance request system.
